Raccoons from Canada and North America
Raccoon are originally from North America, later exposed to Europe. There is the risk of overpopulation, as raccoons spread very quickly, the stocks, therefore, must be kept under control. Raccoons have long, shiny and dense hair. The undercoat of the raccoons is not too thick, and they have a dark back stripe. Originally raccoons are from the west and south of Canada, in the US and Mexico. Raccoons have a yellowish to brownish/ gray color. In fur finishing, the skins are usually "dazzled", that is tinted to deepen the natural color. This is done with the dark spine strip on the back.
