Kolinksy - "Russian Weasel"
Kolinsky or Kolonok (Mustela sibirica) or "Siberian weasel" counts to the family of the marten-type and the kind weasel-type. Kolinsky has been experiencing a comeback for several years, as the coat is particularly light, thin-laced and very suitable for trimming and lightest models - fur jackets and fur vests. The kolinsky has a dense, medium-length coat with a soft underwool. A characteristic feature is the 17-18 cm long striking bushy tail. The natural colors of the Russian weasel is a sandy yellow to yellow ocher color.
